See Natalie Merchant Sing If No One Ever Marries Me
in the 1848 Meeting House
Concerts in the 1848 Meeting House
The Meeting House was built for Shaker worship services which consisted of singing and dancing. The acoustics were intentionally designed to highlight the human voice. It is a wonderful and unique venue for intimate concerts.
Proceeds from the Music in the Meeting House concert series will benefit the Shaker Heritage Society and its efforts to preserve the site of America’s first Shaker settlement. Music in the Meeting House concert tickets are available at the door the night of the event unless otherwise noted.
