2015 Craft Fairs
The Society offers two annual weekend craft fairs that utilize the 1915 Barn, 1848 Meeting House and the grounds.
JULY CRAFT FAIR: July 11th and 12th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Find the perfect item for your home or gift for a friend at our summer Craft Fair! Explore the work of local crafters on the grounds of the Shaker Heritage Society. Jewelry, apparel, ornaments, household goods, toys and gourmet foods are among the most popular items. A Family Activity Station will host activities for all age levels. Site tours are offered on both days at 11:30 and 1:30. Admission: $4 per person or $3 with this ad. Veterans, Active Military, SHS members, and children under age 18 admitted free.
SEPTEMBER CRAFT FAIR: September 12th and 13th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Get an early start on your holiday shopping as you discover jewelry, jams, quilts, apparel, pottery, soaps and decorative items for your home. A Family Activity Station will feature activities for all ages throughout the weekend. Site tours are scheduled on both days at 11:30 and 1:30. Admission: $4 per person or $3 with this ad. Veterans, Active Military, SHS members, and children under age 18 admitted free.
Shaker Christmas Craft Fair
October 31st through December 19th at the 1848 Shaker Meeting House
Find perfect holiday gifts for everyone on your list at our annual Christmas Craft Fair. Over 75 local and regional artisans are represented, offering thousands of items for your perusal. Jewelry, apparel, ornaments, household goods, toys and gourmet jams are among the most popular items. This is a great opportunity to Buy Local, supporting local small businesses while also helping to preserve an important historic site. Most vendors bring new merchandise to the show regularly so, visit often! The Craft Fair is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm and admission is FREE.

Through our Craft Fairs, we try to promote and support local artisans who design and craft their own products.
If you are a buy/sell vendor, wholesaler, trade booth, manufacturer, dealer, or sales representative, we thank you for your interest, but we are not accepting these types of vendors at this time.
If you would like to become a vendor, please send the following:
A short biography or artist-statement
Three – five images, including at least one of your products, one of your booth set up, and one of you creating your product in your workspace. (Please include name, address, phone number, and email address on the back of each image. Do not email images to us. Images will not be returned.)
A photocopy of your current New York State Tax Certificate of Authority
Two first class postage stamps

If approved, you will be added to our mailing list for the July and September Craft Fairs. Currently, we have a waiting list for our Christmas Craft Fair. Applications are accepted and approved based on category limits and space availability.
